Ingredients :

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium beef or chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion cut into cubes
  • Small green pepper, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  •   2 teaspoons taco seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  •   1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp white cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 hamburger buns

* Directions :

  1. Preheat broiler.In a bowl, beat cornstarch also broth jointly. Sit apart .Heaat oil in a non-stiick frying pan over a heat. Add onions and peppers. Frying for 3 min To cooked. Add the beef and continue to cook, breaking it up and browning it for another 3 minutes. Get rid of fat.
  2. Add ketchup, Worcestershire, taco seasoning, salt, and pepper.Quickly stir in the broth and cornstarch and add to the skillet. Simmer on low heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Put a little of the mixture on the buns, cover with 1/4 cup of the cheese, and then place it under the broiler until it melts (watch closely, so nothing burns!)Serve warm with chips
